  • 4 cups pecan halves
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1.5 tsp coarse sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Arrange pecan halves in a single layer on cookie sheet
  3. Bake pecan halves for 10 minutes
  4. Transfer hot pecan halves to food processor
  5. Add maple syrup, sea salt, and vanilla extract to food processor
  6. Process for 5 minutes, scraping bowl and alternating between settings, until smooth
  7. Transfer pecan butter to jar and store in fridge for up to 4 weeks
