Caprese Salad

  • 10 oz package of fresh mozzarella pearls
  • 1 container of grape tomatoes (16 oz)
  • 2 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2tbsp Dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cut grape tomatoes in half lengthwise and place in large bowl
  2. Add entire package of mozzarella pearls to bowl
  3. Add 2 tbsp white balsamic vinegar 
  4. Add 1/2 tbsp dried basil
  5. Stir, separating the mozzarella pearls
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste and stir again
  7. Cover and place in fridge for 15 minutes prior to serving to allow ingredients to meld together


*If following a dairy free lifestyle, use fresh goat cheese instead of mozzarella 

*Balsamic vinegar works as well, but white balsamic adds a milder flavor 

*fresh basic can be used in place of dried basic, mince the fresh basil so it is easily incorporated
