Hello intermittent fasting friends! I know that the thought of giving up your nice creamy morning coffee is too much to bear, so you’re in luck, because I have compiled a list of some of my favorite creamers that won’t break your fast! Make sure you check the serving size and don’t go over 50 calories and you’re good to go!
Let’s start with Califia Farms. They make a variety of non-dairy coffee creamers that add seasonal flavor to your coffee without breaking your fast. They rank tops in my book because the creamer doesn’t separate like some other brands do, and Target usually keeps these creamers fully stocked! If you prefer Half n Half for extra creaminess, theirs is the best I’ve ever had, and you can have up to 6 tbsp!
Let’s talk Nutpods! These little creamers are a favorite among my FASTer Way family and for good reason! They come in a few different flavors and most only have 10 calories per serving! But this is one of those brands you have to be careful with because it separates really bad and can leave your coffee looking unappetizing. I have found that shaking the container vigorously for about 30 seconds before pouring into your cup keeps the creamer together a lot better. I have shopped at several different grocery stores in multiple states, and I have found the unsweetened and hazelnut flavors readily available in most chain grocery stores. This brand also boasts a Pumpkin Spice flavor in the fall, but it leaves a little to be desired.
So Delicious…the name says it all! This is a good fallback brand for me when I can’t find my Califia Farms half n half. The original flavor is my absolute favorite and with a good pre-pour shaking, it stays married nicely.
And then comes Almond Milk. I use this stuff for everything! It works great as a coffee creamer and as a base for smoothies. I even use it when baking! These are my two favorite brands, but any brand will do as long as it’s unsweetened. The unsweetened vanilla tastes really good in smoothies!
So there you have it, creamy coffee without breaking your fast! If you like it sweet as well, you can always add in stevia as that is the only FASTer Way approved sweetener to use during fasting hours! Happy morning start with coffee!
