Welcome to my Gluten Free Kitchen!

Hey y’all, I’m Jess! Years ago I cut out gluten in an attempt to help with chronic health issues, and I was surprised at how much better it made me feel! I had been experiencing wide-spread joint pain for many years that miraculously disappeared when I eliminated gluten from my diet. I didn’t understand it much at the time, but now I know that gluten can cause inflammation that leads to pain, bloating, gastrointestinal discomfort, headaches, swelling, and more. By eliminating gluten, I have improved my overall health and wellbeing.

While gluten free food choices have come a long way in the past few years, there are still many foods I crave that I can’t readily find. To solve that problem, I have turned to my kitchen and started whipping up my favorite childhood recipes with a gluten free twist! I also didn’t want to have to make two separate dinners for myself and my family every night, so I was determined to find a way to make my favorite dishes taste like the real deal instead of tasting like they’re missing something, ie., the gluten.

I know I’ve hit a home run with a recipe when my hubby, toddler, and very picky bonus child rave about how delicious it is! Now I’m sharing all of those recipes with all of you! Just because you’ve eliminated gluten doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice on flavor. And it definitely doesn’t mean you have to miss out on your favorite foods!
